General submissions are open.
Four Tulips general submissions are open through Duosuma and Submittable at the links below. As of January 2026, we are no longer accepting submissions via email.
Prose: Submit no more than one prose piece at a time. Prose should be single-spaced, Times New Roman font, and no longer than 5,000 words. Submit as Microsoft Word or PDF.
Poetry: Submit no more than three poems at a time. Poems should be single-spaced in a Times New Roman font as a Microsoft Word or a PDF file.
Please note: Contest entries are always judged first, and open submission entries are read on a rolling basis.
