Lost at Sea (Turtle)
Melodie Anne
Soft shells grow into hard
Adapting to the land lived
Staring at lifted wilted stars
Where faith should have been
Burying our kindled thoughts
To rise fragile and take shape
Then they leave ahead of us
Knowing where they came
Instinct walks hidden pathways
Trickling patience is in the time
I balance on the grains of them
Crawling out to dive deep inside
